Maine Listings’ latest report has revealed home sales increased 11.82% in December 2025 when compared to December 2024. Meanwhile, the median sales price (MSP) was $385,000, a -3.75% decrease in that same time period.
The National Association Realtor (NAR) reports that existing home sales were up and prices up nationally and decreased slightly in the northeast, comparing December 2025 to December 2024.
Annually, Maine REALTORS® sold 15,133 single-family homes last year, an increase of 4.78% over 2024. The statewide MSP increased 3.85% in 2025 to stand at an historic high of $405,000.
